About Linda Sorensen:

Linda Sorensen has trained many National and International award-winning riders. She is a "R" rated judge, with years of experience judging traditional and western dressage. Linda makes success a habit for her riders. First and foremost is respect and individual attention given to each person. Second is the knowledge, education and experience possessed by Linda. She has owned her equestrian business and taught riding for over 26 years. Her equestrian education includes studying with such greats as Olympic competitor and coach from Sweden, Major Andres Lindgren and Col. Auge Sommer, an Olympic judge from Denmark. She has also studied with the exceptional teacher Violet Hopkins and the legendary Sally Swift, as well as many other Olympic coaches, trainers and riders. Linda's degree in physical therapy gives her unusual success in the diagnosis and correction of problems that block the progress of many riders. She's been able to help professional and amateur riders to increased show ring success. In the early years, Linda taught horseback riding to students who were mentally and/or physically challenged. This experience taught Linda many things - the ability to teach with compassion, understanding and patience, and the ability to approach each student with a teaching style that is best suited for their individual needs.
